BUDMA 2026 in Poznań - the most important construction and architecture fair

The International Construction and Architecture Fair BUDMA 2026 took place from February 3rd to 6th at the Poznań International Fair. The event brought together building materials producers, architects, engineers, and investors from Poland and abroad. The fair provides an important platform for presenting modern technologies, design solutions, and exchanging industry experiences. Participants had the opportunity to explore the range of building materials, construction systems, prefabrication technologies, and digital tools supporting investment processes. BUDMA is one of the most important industry events in Central and Eastern Europe, attracting thousands of professionals from various sectors of construction and architecture each year. The event fosters business relationships, fosters industry integration, and showcases market launches.

Modern technologies and industry events

This year’s fair was divided into 12 thematic exhibition halls, making it easier to navigate the offerings and focusing on specific market segments. These included the WIN_DOOR POLAND exhibition hall, dedicated to Polish construction joinery, and spaces showcasing modern prefabrication technologies and energy-efficient construction solutions. Exhibitors presented innovative building materials, construction systems, tools for contractors, and technologies supporting digital design. A strong emphasis was placed on sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions. Attendees could learn about market developments and industry standards. The program included conferences and expert debates, including the WIN_DOOR POLAND Pro-Export Joinery Forum, the 18th Urban Planning Day, a Design and Architecture Forum, and meetings devoted to the use of stone in architecture.

Workshops, consultations and educational events

The fair offered numerous workshops and educational meetings for architects, designers, and engineers. The panel “Surveying for Construction – Technological Solutions and Their Implementation” took place on February 3rd and allowed participants to gain practical knowledge of modern measurement technologies and digital tools. Another important event was the Lighting Design Event, held on February 4th and 5th at the Interior Design showroom. Experts conducted design consultations, presented lighting technologies, and discussed the impact of light on the functionality and aesthetics of interiors. Representatives from public institutions and government administration also attended the fair, participating in panel discussions and conferences. Of particular note was the 5th Scientific and Technical Conference “Fire Safety of Buildings,” held on February 4th and 5th, during which experts discussed technical requirements for buildings, changes in regulations, and modern solutions to increase user safety.

During the fair, we visited the Högert Technik booth, located at 100 m². in Pruszków, Masovian Voivodeship (part of the Polish GTV capital group), dealing primarily with the production and distribution of high-quality hand tools, power tools and health and safety products.

The importance of the fair and information for visitors

BUDMA 2026 confirmed its position as one of the key industry events. The four-day fair allowed for the presentation of innovations, the exchange of knowledge, and the building of business relationships. New technologies, the digitization of design processes, sustainable construction, and the safety of building occupants were the focus. Exhibitions and architectural competitions, such as “Architectural Sketches. Beauty in Architecture. From Concept to Space,” and student projects showcased the creativity of young designers. The fair took place from February 3–6, 2026. Opening hours were as follows: February 3–5, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and February 6, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
