An unusual proposition from Lithuania has appeared on the automotive market - Rhino RR01. Lithuanian Rhino RR01, a kit car, i.e. a set of parts that the customer can assemble himself in the garage. The creators promise to combine the sporty character of the Porsche with the powerful heart of the Audi V10. Is this another experiment or a real alternative to supercars?



Touted as a "street-legal component car designed for racing," the model draws inspiration from the iconic Porsche Carrera GT and 918 Spyder. However, the RR01 is a more aggressive coupe with a fixed roof and distinctive gullwing doors. Although it is expected to be street legal traffic, its purpose is clear - a race track.



The price you won't expect



The most surprising thing is the price of the basic version. It amounts to only 25,000 euros! For this amount we get a car with an aluminum chassis, a safety cage and a fiberglass body. The basis of the RR01 design is an aluminum monocoque chassis. Additionally, the RR01 boasts a fully adjustable suspension and a sports steering wheel with an integrated display. For more demanding customers, there is the "Option 2" version for EUR 27,500. This option is even more track-oriented, thanks to polycarbonate windows and larger rims. The heart of the car is, of course, the V10 engine from the Audi R8, which provides impressive performance. The greatest the highlight, however, is the drive system. For an additional fee of EUR 37,500, we can equip the RR01 with a 5.2-liter V10 engine from the Audi R8. This engine is to be modified and combined with a sequential gearbox and a limited-slip differential 480 HP and drive the rear wheels.
